As one of the premier booking agents in the entertainment business, Bob Kinkead has been responsible for putting many of entertainment’s biggest names in front of the public. It’s something that he’s excelled in for over three decades, and he brings that knowledge and experience with him as he begins a new chapter in his career with The Kinkead Entertainment Agency.
Kinkead began his career in 1982 working in the Big Apple at Spotlite Enterprise. He worked with such acts as Blood, Sweat, and Tears as well as the Broadway road show Beatlemania. During his time there, he also was responsible for putting a pair of comedians in front of the public who would go on to become the most iconic careers in the history of television – Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld.
As the stock of his clients rose, so did Kinkead. In 1987, he became an agent and VP for The Jim Halsey Company. It was there that Kinkead got his first taste of working with many of the biggest names in Country Music, such as Hall of Famers Waylon Jennings, Tammy Wynette, and Reba McEntire. He also was responsible for continuing the amazing touring success of superstars such as The Oak Ridge Boys, The Judds, and Dwight Yoakam.
Kinkead moved on to the William Morris Agency in 1990, and has carved out one of the most successful careers in the business ever since, with opening the office of The Agency For The Performing Arts (APA), WBA Entertainment, Buddy Lee Attractions, Paradigm Talent Agency, as well as his own company, The Kinkead Entertainment Agency.
For over thirty years, Bob Kinkead has been one of the movers and shakers within the industry. He will continue to use that passion, determination, and experience to move forward with his own company, The Kinkead Entertainment Agency.
