Julie Devereux, President

Julie began her career at Tracy-Locke Advertising in Dallas, TX working with such high-profile clients as Pepsi, Taco Bell, and Mrs. Baird’s Bread. When the door opened for an opportunity to pursue her long-term career interest, Julie walked away from the corporate world and into the Music Business. In her new role as Media Buyer for Sound Warehouse Records, she was soon negotiating deals with various media outlets on behalf of the record labels and home video companies that she represented. Additionally, Julie planned and executed many in-store artist appearances for autograph signings, as well as Grand Openings for this 106 store chain. She continued along this path, later working for MusicPlus Records in Los Angeles.

A desire to be closer to her family in Kentucky brought her to Nashville, Tennessee where she spent time with Cat’s Music and CMT, providing wonderful opportunities to develop new business relationships, as well as restore ties with former business acquaintances. This led to renewing a working relationship with former colleague Paul Lucks at Lucks Management, where she helped to oversee the careers of Twister Alley, Tracy Nelson, and Sammy Kershaw. When Lucks left to rejoin the label world, Julie struck out on her own, continuing to manage Sammy Kershaw.

In 2008, Julie, along with current business partner (and husband) Bob Kinkead, opened Impact Management to further the careers of Cowboy Crush and Martin Ramey. After taking a hiatus, Julie joined Bob in opening The Kinkead Entertainment Agency in January 2015. Julie oversees the financial aspect of our company, as well as stepping in as manager for our clients on an as-needed basis.
